This is one of my favourite memorabilia cards. Not only is it three of my favourite players, it is also two colour patch for each player. I got this on e-bay.

2008-09 Upper Deck Trilogy Three Star Spotlight

I don't know when it happened (maybe around the Stanley Cup Playoffs), but I am becoming a big Boston Fan.  So when I saw this card at the Comic Connection and Rich gave me a good deal on it, I had to have it.  Hopefully Marc Savard will return to the NHL.



2010-11 ITG Famous Fabrics Ser # 5/9

This is the rarest card I have in my collection. It may not have nice pictures of the players but the memorabilia is amazing. 2 Colour swatch of Ovechkin's Jersey, 2 Colour piece of Crosby's hockey pant, Swatch from Stamko's Sarnia Sting jersey and a piece of Kane's glove. Super Cool.

Brand new to my collection, this amazing card with three of the greatest players of all time. I have to really thank my dad for getting this card. Not much more I can say except AMAZING.

Stamkos Young Gun ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

The crazyist thing happend yesterday. I bought a couple of packs of 2008-09 Upper Deck series 1 from TOYS R US I opened one of the packs there it was the mother of all young guns Steve Stamkos!

I even got a Drew Doughty Young Gun (my second one). Wow the best two Young Guns in that Year and I got them both. Pretty Cool!

My Special Rookie Cards

Sidney Crosby 2005-06 Parkhurst (graded 9) Rookie Card

The above card was one of my first ultimate Rookie Cards. I got this card off of E-Bay and was so excited. Crosby is my favorite player in the NHL and to know I got one of his first cards, was really cool.

Alexander Ovechkin 2005-06 Upper Deck Young Guns Rookie Card

I recently got this card from The Comic Connection in Oakville. I had other cards from Ovechkin's Rookie Year but I think in the hockey card world the Young Guns series from UpperDeck are the ultimate Rookie cards to get.

Steven Stamkos 2008-09 Upper Deck Victory Rookie Card

The Victory series from Upper Deck is a very kid friendly set. (The cost is low). I was able to get this card off of E-Bay for a very low price. I am still trying to get a higher end Rookie card of Stamkos, but I am very happy that I got this one.

Wayne Gretzky 1979-80 O-Pee-Chee Rookie Card

Here it is folks. The holy grail of rookie cards. This was my dad's but he has given it to me. I know its not perfect, but just to have a piece of hockey history of the greatest player ever gives me a special feeling.

Mark Messier 1980-81 O-Pee-Chee Rookie Card

Along with Gretzky, one of the greatest players to ever lace up their skates. I actually have two of the rookie cards and also a signed jersey from Messier.











John Tavares 2009-10 Upper Deck Victory Rookie Card

I was excited to get this card because he is a player who I like to watch and feel can become a superstar in the NHL.

I have a lot more special rookie cards and just wanted to share a few of my ultimate rookies with you.

These are just a few of my favorite players.

Sidney Crosby

My Inspiration.

This card is a 2005-06 Beehive Matted Materials. This card has a piece of Sidney Crosby's rookie jersey.

I am a huge Pittsburgh Penguins fan, but even more Sidney Crosby is my favourite player.  This card was the very first special Sidney Crosby I got for my collection. Because of this card, I became obsessed with collecting hockey cards. I now have over 10,000 Hockey cards in my collection (including my dad's cards). The cards range from the 1970's to current. I will continue to get hockey cards and provide pictures and my views on the cards.

The pictures I will share are my absolute favourite cards. I hope anyone viewing this blog will also share their cards with  me.
